The American Irish Association of Westchester was established in 1974. The mission of the AIA is to fulfill the needs of the Irish-American community on a social, cultural, and educational level.
The AIA of Westchester is the official host of Westchester County’s Annual Irish Heritage Day. It’s a 6 hour long celebration of Irish culture, music, and Irish diaspora clubs and vendors.
The AIA of Westchester engages in various local St. Patrick’s Day Parades, wearing the club banner and colors, and celebrating with the attendees after the major festivities.
Every year the AIA celebrates the contributions of Irish-Americans in the community, with prayers, speeches, awards, music and dancing.
